Regarding the relationship with the political parties, Romanians are divided into two relatively equal camps, half declaring that they would prefer a president independent of parties, while the other half said that they would prefer a party’s representative as president. The generic options of the Romanians that define the main traits of the president’s profile are relevant especially for the second round of the presidential elections,” stated the head of INSCOP Research, Remus Stefureac.
