The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday’s session higher on almost all indices, and the trading stood at 45.48 million RON (9.13 million euros), of which 36.69 million RON (7.37 million euros) represented share transactions.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.28%, up to 17,104.81 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, also closed in the red by 0.28%.
The BET-XT blue-chip index, the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.15%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell 0.55%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose 0.17%, while the BET-NG index, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, was flat, as in the previous session.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 1.13%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 19.34 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 7.46 million RON, and Romgaz, with 1.48 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Romcarbon (+14.67%), Romcab (+7.06%) and COMCM Constanta (+4.55%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Mecanica Ceahlau (-14.71%), UAMT (-10.62%) and Comelf (-6.15%).
