The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday’s session higher on almost all indices, after two days of decline, and the value of transactions was 171.24 million RON (33.58 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.31%, to the value of 16,621.76 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with gains of 0.34%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.20%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, decreased by 0.41%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark of investment funds’ performance, rose by 0.71%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utilities companies, recorded an increase of 0.35%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed with an appreciation of 1.12%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Hidroelectrica, with transactions of 79 million RON, followed by shares of Banca Transilvania, with 23.89 million RON, and Romgaz, with 10.26 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by the shares Electroaparataj (+14.84%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+10.34%) and Sinteza (+9.71%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares Green Tech International (-14.93%), Comelf (-14.89%) and Rompetrol Rafinare (-5.61%).
