The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday’s trading session with most indices moving up and RON 82.19 million (EUR 16.51 million) worth of transactions.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.90 percent to 17,677.85 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.83 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.84 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 0.60 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies picked up 0.91 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG inched up 1 percentage point.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market dipped 0.15 percent.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania with RON 28.25 million worth of trading, followed by Digi Communications which generated trades worth RON 14.98 million, and OMV Petrom with RON 5.93 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Condmag (+12.50 percent), Promateris (+10 percent), and Comelf (+9.21 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Romcab (-5.19 percent), Turism Felix (-4.17 percent), and TTS (Transport Trade Services) (-3.16 percent).
