The Department for Romanians Everywhere on Wednesday launched a non-reimbursable funding session for projects intended for Romanians abroad.
The associations, foundations, religious institutions, non-governmental organizations of Romanians abroad, authorized individuals or legal entities under public or private law from Romania or abroad can submit financing applications.
The financing guide includes six programmess: education, culture, spirituality and tradition, civil society, media and community, according to a press release sent on Wednesday by the DRP (Department for Romanians Everywhere) to AGERPRES.
„We are opening the annual funding session for projects aimed at Romanians living abroad who wish to preserve their linguistic, cultural and spiritual identity. We are waiting for projects from all those who seek to get involved in supporting Romanian communities everywhere, to inspire the younger generations and to promote Romanian values and traditions,” stated Cristina-Lavinia Arnautu, head of the DRP.
An applicant can submit a maximum of two projects, provided that they fall under different programmes.
The deadline for submitting funding applications will be announced after April 30, on the DRP website. The announcement will be published five business days before the closing date of the submission phase.
Funding applications are evaluated periodically, and the results of the evaluation will be published on the DRP website.
