The Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity (MMFTSS) launched the National Youth and Student Project Competition, with a total allocated budget of 3 million lei.
According to a post on the Ministry’s official Facebook page, the competition is taking place between April 15 and May 14, 2025, and the total budget is divided as follows: 1.5 million lei for youth project funding; 1.5 million lei for student project funding. The maximum funding per project is 150,000 lei, and each applicant can submit up to two projects within the same funding line.
The competition’s priority areas include: Facilitating young people’s access to lifelong learning (formal, non-formal and informal) and quality culture; Promoting health and health education; Supporting the participation of young people and youth organisations in the decision-making process; Creating and supporting opportunities for young people in rural areas, in order to reduce the gap between urban and rural communities.
