The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), through the Romanian Embassy in Madrid and the Romanian Consulate in Castellon de la Plana, is verifying the information regarding the disappearance of 16 Romanian citizens in the context of the recent floods.
According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the representatives of the diplomatic mission and the consular office are in permanent contact with the competent Spanish authorities and with the Romanian citizens, including family members, who reported the missing persons, and remain ready to provide consular assistance, depending on the requests.
Also, the Romanian Embassy in Madrid and the Romanian Consulate in Castellon de la Plana are verifying the information that appeared in the public space about the death of some Romanian citizens, victims of the recent floods in the Valencian Community.
